I only buy tires at discount. I wish all discount tires were as good as this one. All are good the Washington location is great.
Then one of your reps broke a stud off of my 2013 car..Which I get that accidents happen.... But for your sales rep to try and convince me that you guys are "doing me a favor" to refer me to another mechanic place and have them fix the stud and you guys are gonna pay for it.... That's not doing me a favor that's just doing the right thing...you broke it..you fix it... Doing me a favor would be you waking up at 7am come to my house take my car drop my car off to the mechanic at 730am and letting me use one of your cars to get to work on time... That...that would be doing me a favor.
Poor customer service... Your prices online vs.the ones in the store don't match....
I love discount tires in Ogden, UT, Layton UT, Austin TX, Buda TX, Grand Junction CO, I have been going to discount tires for years I actually quit going to Big O Tires because they didn't honor their warranty on tires I bought from them... So I went across the street to discount tires and the men there were awesome and converted me over to doing business with discount.... But after yesterday I don't think I'll ever be going back to your store.
Sigh.. I’m giving two stars because the front end service is great! Alex is super helpful and has a great attitude! I ended up buying tires for both my truck and wife crossover. The people who actually work on the tires are clowns. I ran over a nail and brought my truck in. They fixed the leak and Alex told me my tires were close to needing a rotation. He said in 500 miles they will need it so might as well do it now. I agreed and picked up my truck a few hours later (after running errands). On the drive home i noticed a bad vibration in the steering wheel. I brought the truck back two days later and they said the balancing wasn’t done properly. They said it was fixed and when I left I noticed a small vibration while driving. There was no vibration when I dropped it off the first time. I ended up taking my truck to the alignment shop and they said the alignment was fine the tires just needed balancing. They fixed the problem and now the vibration is gone..
It is best to call ahead for appointment. They are busy but if you make an appointment, they will get you right in. Very knowledgeable staff and friendly service. Free rotations and balances after purchases is very nice. Honors their warranties with no hassles. Been doing business with them for several years now. After bad experiences in other places and great experiences here, I don't plan to go anywhere else.
They quickly fixed the leak. Maybe I’m unlucky but two incidents in 6 months or less is making me want to buy tires somewhere else...
The Washington store has usually always been helpful and are generally fast. This time I was purchasing all 4 new tires, the employee helping me rushed through the checkout process and told me the total... Without letting me know or even asking, the employee added on the extra warranty and was trying to rush me to swipe my credit card, he wanted the SELL. To the manager at the Washington store: Come on Discount Tire your better than that... be TRANSPARENT with your customers (if you want to keep them as loyal customers). I am disappointed with my recent experience. If you go here definitely look over everything on the bill before paying....
THEN...
My wife ran over a nail a few months later and I brought her car in. I told them the rear driver tire had a nail in it. I waited roughly an hour for the tire to get fixed. When they finished, the tire guy in back said there was a small leak in one of the sensors. He said he tightened it and it is good to go. My reply was ok cool but what about the nail? He said he dunked the tire and no other leaks were seen. I walked out to the shop and noticed the front driver tire was wet. I asked if they rotated the tires and they said no. I asked the guy to raise the car and showed him the nail in the rear passenger tire. He said oh man our guy looked at the wrong tire. I said well maybe I told them the wrong tire. I looked at my receipt and it said nail in rear driver side tire.
